Allow others to collaborate on your events.
Vesavo considers you a user with an account, rather than an event. When you create your account, you normally create one event. However, you can create multiple events, and an event can have multiple users.
When someone is added to an event, they are considered a "collaborator" of that event. They will have their own way to login, and can only see the events they are invited to.
Whoever creates an event is considered the owner of the event. Collaborators can do everything on an event except for purchasing a plan and adding other Collaborators.
Adding a Collaborator
- Go into the Event you wish to add a Collaborator to
- On the sidebar, select "Event Settings"
- In Event Settings, select the "Collaborators" tab
- Click "Invite Collaborator"
- Enter the email address of the person you wish to invite
- Click "Send invitation"
The invitee who receives an email explaining that they have been invited to Collaborate on your Event, with a link to create an account or login to a pre-existing account. An account can only be linked if it has the same email address that the Invite was sent to.
If the invitee accidentally deletes the email, it's possible to resend the invitation using the Resend button on the Collaborators tab.
The invitee has 7 days to accept the invitation before it expires. If they don't accept it, they can be sent a new invitation via the same steps used to invite them
Removing a Collaborator
- Go into the "Collaborators" tab of the Event Settings (following the instructions from Adding a Collaborator)
- Find the Collaborator you wish to remove and click the "Remove" button
Due to the way our authentication protocol works, removing a Collaborator may take up to 15 minutes to take effect.
Subscriptions on Events with Collaborators
If you have Collaborators on an Event and are using Vesavo's subscription plan (designed for event planners or anyone planning multiple events), the subscription for the event owner will be what is applied to the event.
If one of the Collaborators has a subscription but the Event Owner does not, the Event will not have the subscription benefits applied to it.
