On the day: Find Your Seat and Check-in

Last updated: 2026-09-08

A per-function QR code helps guests find their table — and helps you track arrivals. You can customise those short URLs too.

On the day of your event, a QR code for each function gives guests a simple web page with everything they need for that gathering. This is called the "Day-of" website.

Find Your Seat

Guests scan the code, search for their name, and see which table they're on — with an optional map of the room so they can find it. Pop the QR code on a sign at the entrance and you'll save yourself a stack of questions.

Guest Check-in

Check guests in as they arrive — from your phone, or by letting them check themselves in. Handy for knowing who's actually turned up versus who said they would.

Camera

If Guest Photos is enabled, that feature can also be accessed from the Day-of website.

QR Codes

There are QR codes that can take users to specific parts of the Day-of website (e.g. directly to "Find Your Seat" or the "Camera" feature), but it's the same website. If someone accidentally scans the "Find Your Seat" QR code but intended to take a Guest Photo, they can switch to the Camera feature easily. The different QR codes make it easier for guests to go to the correct section of the Day-of website.

Customising the short URL

Find Your Seat and Camera QR codes also use short vesavo.rsvp links. Open Links & QR (or the function's own Find Your Seat page), click Edit, and set a custom path of at least 6 letters, numbers, or hyphens. Each function can have its own path. Clara can set these for you too.

Changing a custom path stops the previous URL from working, including QR codes you have already printed.

Find Your Seat and Guest Check-in are per-function features — turn them on for the functions where you'll use them, from Features or the function's own settings. Guest Photos can share the same day-of page when it's enabled.
